Senator Joe Biden and women's complaints; President Trump's locker room talk

Those who are my generation would remember Senator Joe Biden as the Chair of the Senate's Judiciary Committee, who questioned law professor Anita Hill regarding  the sexual harassment scandal involving U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.  I was in Washington, D.C. at that time as a young lawyer for the SEC, getting ready to leave the Capital City back to my home base Houston, Texas.  Senator Biden was/is an urbane, sophisticated, tactile gentleman, now married to an intellectual woman (Ph.D. holder).   Many would view him as the opposite of President Trump.

Can we envision Senator Biden engaging in "boys' talks"?

The tape of President Trump's "locker room talk" shows undeniably it was President Trump talking.  His wife Melania dismissed it as "boys' talk" and then the media or someone out there came up with the phrase "locker room talk."

I think the standard for a new conduct code in terms of "boys' talk" or locker room talk" should be this:  In the locker room of gyms and among boys, will any boy enjoy it when the "talks" are about their mother? sister? girlfriend? wife?

(And then there is the question of when "talks"/speech turn into action! Speech is action! You talk, and that is an act!)

If the answer is No, leave my mother out of the locker room,  then please, the "boys" in the locker room, please exercise some self-restraint and get rid of these "boys' talks," shall we?  Respect for women begins with your mother!
