THE VOICE OF WOMEN:
The Huffington Post ran the following story today, Oct. 6, about statements that Christine Ford made to friends, constituting "prior consistent statements" under the eyes of the law. Senators who supported Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation replied to the Post, inter alia, that these sworn accounts (affidavits), even if read by the Judiciary Committee, did not come from individuals who witnessed the "sexual assaults" and, therefore, fell short of "corroborating evidence" that can change results....
So now the standards are: If a woman is assaulted or abused, the perpetrator will first "halt" himself, and then go find other people to come in and "witness" how, when, and where, by whom, and to whom the bad act will be done? (Excuse me, sir, you need to do your bad act, before a bunch of people who applaud???? What kind of savagery is that? (or do you want to call that "camaraderie among gentlemen???")
If that's the case, then, yes, culturally, it's gang-raped, or a form thereof, or simply serious sickness in the fantasy world of ...men, but then the whole "gang" will simply "DENY" and, guess, what, all such DENIALS will become "corroborating evidence" for the "accused"....("I never see what she claimed"!!!!)
No wonder most women keep the trauma to themselves! Then, they won't have to go find "accidental witnesses," or risk being victimized again, again, and again, by society, commentators, investigators, police, the FBI, the "accused"'s family, friends, and all those "corroborating witnesses who...happened to there"!!!!
(Excuse me, if you were there, why didn't you rescue her???))
