The singer bears great resemblance to the late Maria Callas: very strong nose, distinctive facial features, dark hair, angular face and beautiful bone structure, and a sensuous, versatile mouth that is the true signature of a singer. A real singer often has a very large mouth and curvy, expressive lips, because articulation and breath control requires movement and amplification. A little cherry closed geisha mouth would not do the job!
This is the contemporary voice that far exceeds the norm because it is so sugary (ngot lim). Articulation so perfect. Expression as sublime! The music, styled as spoken "parole", is absolutely beautiful. I think that Vietnamese contemporary singers should watch this tape and hear this voice. singing as speaking, straight to and from THE SOUL.
